Grants

Washington Women's Foundation grants two ways:

Pooled fund awards are major ($50,000 - $100,000) grants in five funding areas - arts & culture, education, environment, health and social services. One grant in each funding area is made each year, and the entire membership votes to select the recipients. In 2007 WWF awarded $450,000 to five pooled fund recipients.

Individual grants are grants of $250 - $1,000 designated by individual members. In 2007 WWF granted approximately $340,000 in individual grants to more than 280 organizations.
