Completing the Letter of Inquiry Form: PDF Forms Online

  1. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, click here or on the graphic below.

  2. Download the form by clicking on the following link: WWF LOI form

  3. Your Web browser may be configured with an Acrobat plug-in to automatically open the file within your browser's window upon download. To download the file directly to disk, right-click on the link above, then select "Save Target/Link As..." when presented with a menu.

  4. Use Acrobat to open the file if necessary.

  5. Select the hand tool from the Acrobat toolbar menu. You can use the hand tool to move the page around so that you can view all the areas on it.

  6. Position the hand pointer inside a form field and click. The I-beam pointer allows you to type text. The arrow pointer allows you to select a field, a check box, a radio button, or an item from a list. *Note that this application form is a protected document. The fonts and fields are locked so that they cannot be changed. The font is 10 point Helvetica.

  7. Please limit your responses to the space provided; abbreviate if necessary. Because this is a form, it does not have all the features of word-processing (i.e., you cannot format your text with bold or italics, and you cannot use the spell-check feature). Editing lengthy amounts of text can be cumbersome in this format. You may find it easier to compose and edit large blocks of text in a separate document and then use the copy and paste function on your computer to place the text into the form.

  8. Press Tab to accept the field change and go to the next field. Press Shift + Tab to accept the field change and go to the previous field.

  9. If the LOI form is displayed within your web browser's window, be sure to use the printer button on the Acrobat toolbar menu to print the form instead of your Web browser's print function.

  10. Although Adobe Acrobat Reader does not allow the user to save the completed form to a hard drive for future use, the ability to save completed forms is available commercially with the Adobe Acrobat product suite. See Adobe's Web site for more information.
