Carla Lewis, President One of the founding members of Washington Women’s Foundation in 1995, Carla became President in April 2008. In addition to her 25-year career working in senior management positions in strategic planning, business management, finance, treasury and communications at Paccar and Microsoft, Carla has extensive experience in the nonprofit arena. As an active member of Washington Women’s Foundation, she has served on the Board’s finance committee, spent three years as a co-leader of Grant Committee Work Groups, and was vice-chair of the Grant Committee. She has served on the boards of Seattle Public Library Foundation, Forest Ridge School, Henry Art Gallery, Seattle Opera, Providence Medical Center and Make-A-Wish Foundation. |

Cynthia K. Chirot, Interim Chief Operating Officer A new member of the Foundation, Cynthia is working with the finance, membership, education, and communications committees to develop operational infrastructure to support the Foundation’s growth and mission. Cynthia was a bank executive for more than 25 years, serving as Chief Operating Officer of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle and Vice President at Bank of America/Seafirst. She is now enjoying a second career focused on nonprofits, most recently as CEO of the Northwest Entrepreneur Network. Cynthia serves on the boards of Capitol Hill Housing, PeaceTrees Vietnam and City University Seattle, is a member and past Vice President – Service of the downtown Seattle Rotary and is a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow. |

Marion DeForest, Deputy Director Ever since becoming a Foundation member in 2001, Marion has been immersed in the pooled fund grant process: first as a committee member, followed by three years on the grant leadership team, and then as the staff liaison for three years to the Grant Committee , the Impact Assessment Committee, and the Committee Cabinet. She has recently broadened her staff role to Deputy Director, assuming additional responsibilities in the overall management of the Foundation in terms of Finance, Governance, Business Operations, and Board Relations. |

Megan Davies, Program Manager Megan joined the Foundation team in August of 2008. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Vassar College and has achieved her Masters degree in Public Administration from the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington. Her experience working with Hadassah, one of the largest women's membership organizations in the world, coupled with her experience as a nonprofit consultant with international organizations such as Para El Mundo in Peru and Fusion International in Argentina, make her an ideal addition to our team. |
