The Washington Women's Foundation welcomes all women who want to make an impact through focused, collective grant making.  We are a foundation of women from a variety of life experiences and perspectives.

Each member contributes $2,500 a year.  We are a 501(c)(3), and your donation is fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.  Your annual $2,500 contribution is distributed as follows:

• $1,000 to the Pooled Grant Fund: Leverage your philanthropy through the experience of collective giving.  Our "one woman, one vote" principle ensures that every member's voice is heard in the final round of grant selections.
• $1,000 as your Individual Grant: Each member demonstrates her impact as an individual philanthropist by recommending her individual grant to up to 2 nonprofit(s) of her choice. 
• $500 is directed to educational programming, grant making curriculum, committee management, communication, member relations, and other areas related to the Foundation’s infrastructure.
